White Road Labs builds privacy-conscious software. This notice describes the current White Road Labs website and the private-beta version of My Q’ij.
Website
This static website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may process basic request information, such as an IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the website.
My Q’ij
My Q’ij does not require an account. The app stores the user’s preferred name, birth date, preferences, personal calendar information, and journal entries locally on the user’s device.
White Road Labs does not operate a journal server and cannot browse or read journal entries.
If the user enables backup, the app may store an app backup through Apple iCloud or Google Drive. Those services are provided under Apple’s or Google’s respective terms and privacy policies.
Notifications are optional and are scheduled according to the user’s selected preferences.
When someone emails White Road Labs, we use the information in the message to respond and provide support. Email is handled by our email service provider. Please do not send private journal entries or other sensitive personal reflections in a support message.
Data practices
White Road Labs does not sell personal data or use personal data for targeted advertising.
